Illustration created for an illustrated book about Castel del Monte, a small village in Abruzzo listed as one of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages. The depicted scene recalls the typical atmosphere of a mountain house in Abruzzo: an old couple spending the evening at home, snow outside.

Illustration made on commission for a wine producer: although the love declaration formed by the wine stains on the ground is inspired by Spanish style, the wine production in question is entirely from Abruzzo. A simplified version was used for the printing of the wine bottle label.
